Mode Activation

Merrill doing the "Mode Activation" pose, where the left hand goes to the forehead, and the right hand holds the staff behind the user.

I really love the way she leaned a little back when I took this shot. It very subtley gives her a curve to her back which both makes her more real, and accentuates the action she's doing.
