Lots of people making journal entries about life and future stuff and whatever. Even my sister; hope this means she's actually sharing her art now!
Anyway, Season 2 is on the backburner for now. Finally gotten in the swing of making art regularly but I'm working on some other projects since they have recipients, not just for myself. I'll keep those projects a secret for now.
Here's the queue when Season 2 returns. Most likely sooner than later, but March or June at the latest is when I'll start making these:

Here's the queue when Season 2 returns. Most likely sooner than later, but March or June at the latest is when I'll start making these:
-THE AVENGERS
-Iron Man (Mark 3, Iron Man or Mark 8, The Avengers)
-Thor (Thor: The Dark World)
-Black Widow (STRIKE Stealth Uniform, Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
-Hawkeye (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
-Bruce Banner and the Hulk (The Avengers)
-Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (once Age of Ultron comes out)
-Saber (Fate/Zero)
-Mami (Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Cut down the list to those I really want to do. To a new year of cool stuff!
It's Been A While
And a lot's happened! I've been focusing on work moreso than art and other stuff, and it's likely I might return to another break given some developments in the near future.
But I am hoping to get back into art again for serious-real-totally, since I finished my most recent piece for my work desk. It feels nice to get back into papercrafting, and making static figures is definitely better for transport and showcasing than the previous poseable ones I've been doing for a while.
So for the next few projects I'll be experimenting with static figurines and see how that works out! I haven't forgotten about that Season 2 list, but the Avengers pr

Taking Requests!
Within reason of course. Also, I'd prefer characters I'm familiar with unless something ungodly popular comes along that I have to make a figure for. Anything from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and BioWare are safe bets. I know most RPG/Action genre titles, and pretty much any video game character is a good chance as well.
Next Up - Lara Croft (Tomb Raider (2013))
While this will most likely change constantly, here is the list of characters for Season 2:
-Doctor Octopus (Spider-Man 2)
-The Avengers
-Iron Man (Mark 3, Iron Man)
-Thor (Thor: The Dark World)
-Black Widow (STRIKE Stealth Uniform,
Absolutely Call It A Comeback
I took a vacation home before moving back up and beginning the job search with gusto, but I was inspired last minute going over my bin of old papercraft figures. I've got this giant plastic bin where all of them are stored, and that's under my bed back home. I opened it up and I forgot how detailed they were, and how quickly I was able to crank them out simply because my original body design was easy to manufacture quickly. I could spend more time on the details and less on the basic construction.
Over the last two years, I've been working in my spare time to try and make new body designs: more poseable, more realistic, more action-figure li
I'm Graduating
Maybe now I can do some art. Or something.
Maybe I'll just sit around and play video games in between job application sessions.
I've got a few projects I'd like to do, though I should probably look over the old list, see what there is. I remember "A Journey in Paper," that sounds like a good place to start. I feel horribly out of practice, but hey, you never forget what you're good at right? I can make anything out of paper, I once said; let's put it to the test.
"It's good to be back."
